Congratulations to Brian Niemkiewicz for being Isett’s Values in Action winner for July! Although he’s an Inspector with our Transportation Department, Brian never thought that changing a tire would be part of his job duties – until Wright Township Secretary Pam Heard needed a helping hand. Luckily, Brian’s willingness to go above and beyond for his clients reflects back to his “real” job duties as well. He’s been stepping up to take on new tasks and coordinate and direct other inspectors. He also deals with contractors on a daily basis, answering their questions and assessing each job—ensuring the quality of work is according to the specifications as well as PennDOT and local guidelines. He reports back to his supervisors and keeps them abreast of his findings and completes daily field reports, noting each day’s progress. Brian was most recently involved in paving projects for the Borough of Archbald and the City of Scranton. Brian loves that his work allows him to continuously learn something new.
