Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. (Isett) is proud to announce that the firm has once again been named one of The Morning Call’s Top Workplaces for 2022. This marks the tenth year in a row that Isett has earned this recognition and it is the only honoree to receive this award for all ten years that the program has existed.
The Top Workplaces program—initiated by The Morning Call in 2013—recognizes employers for establishing company environments that are positive, engaging, and value their employees. Results and recognition in the program are determined solely by employee feedback, acquired through anonymous online surveys analyzed by Energage, a third-party research firm. Isett has been recognized with 24 other Lehigh Valley-based businesses in the annual list across small-, midsize- and large employer categories. The Top Workplaces ranking is proudly embraced by employers as third-party validation of its credibility to stand out to clients, partners, and most importantly, job seekers.
Confidential employee-engagement surveys distributed to Isett associates asked about company leadership, communication, confidence in the company, culture, effectiveness of management, as well as questions about pay, benefits, training, and flexibility.
Founded by Barry and Shirley Isett and now in its 45th year of operation, the company has treated its associates like family while fulfilling its purpose to deliver multi-discipline engineering and consulting services that enrich the community.
“The data that we get back from the program’s survey results gives us comprehensive insight as to where we are doing well and where we need to focus on improving,” said Kimberli Kyra, PHR, Human Resources Director of Barry Isett & Associates. “We will identify topics of importance to implement new programs or processes to improve the situation,” said Kyra.
According to Isett’s President and CEO Kevin Campbell, PE, LEED AP, “Isett is an employee-owned company, so by definition, we own our culture. Our number one priority is a healthy work environment for our associates. We all share the credit for establishing this positive work environment and are all responsible for maintaining it. We are excited by this decade of recognition and look forward to continuing the positive momentum.”
