Associates from Barry Isett attended the Girl Power in STEM: Flipping the Vision program at Penn State Hazleton Campus this week. Over 220 high school girls from Hazleton Area School District, Weatherly School District, Keystone Job Corp and Immanuel Christian School participated in the day’s event focused on careers in STEM. Participants heard from professionals working within the STEM industry, engaged with exhibitors, and shared motivated words of wisdom with each other.
Hosted by the Greater Hazleton Partners in Education, Isett has been a proud exhibitor since 2018. Kathryn Forry, MCP, BCO, Department Head – Code Inspection & Plan Review, and Lori Girvan, PG, Operations Manager – Environmental Consulting, were able to share their journey that led them to a career in STEM and their position at Isett.
