Isett associates joined together on Friday, February 4 by wearing red and supporting the Go Red for Women movement.
In hosting this day, the goal of the Isett Wellness Committee was to educate all our associates on the seriousness of cardiovascular disease, particularly in women. Cardiovascular diseases, which includes stroke, claim the life of a woman about every 80 seconds. But about 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases may be preventable.
There are many factors that can increase your risk of cardiovascular disease, including some factors that you can’t control including, age, gender family heathy history, or previous heart attack or stroke. The good news is there are some factors that you CAN manage to decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease.
Maintaining a heart healthy diet doesn’t have to be difficult. Look for the Heart checkmark on food packaging at the grocery store.

As evidenced by the photo gallery below, Isett associates had no shortage of red clothing in their closets to choose from in support of Go Red for Women.
