New Bermudian Springs Middle School
Project Information
Bermudian Springs Middle School
The Bermudian Springs School District, which serves residents of five municipalities in Adams County, began construction of a new 143,000-square-foot middle school in the spring of 2020, following an initial feasibility study to improve classroom space and eliminate existing infrastructure deficiencies.
The new school serves students in fifth through eighth grades. Designed by Crabtree Rohrbaugh & Associates, Inc., with Barry Isett & Associates providing the Structural and MEP&FP engineering, the new school features two two-story academic wings separated by a lobby and outdoor courtyard. Each grade level has its own learning commons, with all grades having use of an expansive technology and science commons.
Building features include art and music education classrooms; a cafeteria and kitchen; a multi-purpose room; a gymnasium with boys’ and girls’ locker rooms; administrative and meeting space; and a secure vestibule entry system.
